Cardiopulmonary Rehab

The Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Department at Faith Community Hospital has been operating since 1998 and is currently available to provide exercise and education for patients with heart and breathing disorders.

To enter the Cardiac Rehab program, patients must have a referral from their physician and a qualifying diagnosis, such as myocardial infarction, coronary artery bypass surgery (CABG), coronary angioplasty/stenting, heart valve repair/replacement, or stable angina.

In Pulmonary Rehab, patients must also have a physician referral and a qualifying diagnosis, such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), emphysema, chronic bronchitis, or asthma.

Cardiac-monitored sessions are provided on exercise equipment, such as a treadmill, arm ergometer, and Nustep recumbent stepper. We also perform cardiac stress testing, pulmonary function testing, and holter monitoring.

Our goal is to restore patients to their optimal physiological, psychological, social, vocational, and emotional status.
