Our facility has a 4-bed LDRP unit where patients Labor, Deliver, Recover, and stay for their postpartum period in the same room. We have been designated as a level 1 Maternity center since 2020 and a level 1 Neonatal center since 2017. With these designations, we aim to deliver babies at 37 weeks’ gestation or later but also have a special care nursery and can provide additional skilled nursing care and support to infants who may need it.
Our unit takes pride in our participation and recognition at the state level for our involvement in safety initiatives. This participation has allowed us to continue equipping our L&D staff with current education and the resources needed to provide the best care for our laboring patients and their families.
Saying YES to delivering at Faith means choosing a uniquely personalized birth experience with more individualized care. We can provide our patients with the quality of care you’d expect from a large hospital while enjoying the comfort of a smaller, more intimate rural setting.
We work every day to bring positive change and growth to the FCHS Labor & Delivery Department.
Our Rural Obstetrical Community will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we will continue to do our best to improve birth practices at this wonderful facility.
