A Colorado native, Dr. Smith has a strong academic background – graduating from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, with a degree in chemical engineering. With a focus on health and medicine, Dr. Smith earned his medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Medicine and completed his residency and fellowship at UCLA in orthopedic surgery.
“For me, it’s not just about helping patients find relief,” Dr. Smith says. “Healthcare is about improving outcomes and making sure patients have a positive experience along the way.”
